Vietnamese Summer Rolls

Ingredients

  • Minor’s® Chicken Base

  • Rice Paper Wrappers

  • Cooked Chicken (shredded or thinly sliced)

  • Rice Vermicelli Noodles (cooked and chilled)

  • Carrots (julienned)

  • Cucumber (julienned)

  • Thai Basil and Cilantro

  • Fish Sauce

  • Fresh Lime Juice

  • Honey or Sugar

  • Garlic (minced)

  • Red Chili (minced)

Build It

  1. Prepare the Nuoc: Cham Sauce In a bowl, whisk together fish sauce, fresh lime juice, honey or sugar, garlic, red chili, and Minor’s Chicken Base until fully dissolved and balanced. Adjust sweetness and acidity as needed.
  2. Prepare the Fillings: Ensure chicken is cooked and shredded. Prepare vermicelli noodles and julienned vegetables. Wash and dry fresh herbs.
  3. Soften the Rice: Paper Dip rice paper wrappers, one at a time, briefly in warm water until pliable. Lay flat on a clean work surface.
  4. Build the Summer Rolls: Arrange chicken, noodles, vegetables, and herbs across the lower third of each wrapper. Fold sides inward and roll tightly to enclose.
  5. Serve summer rolls chilled with the Nuoc Cham–style dipping sauce on the side. Garnish with fresh herbs and lime wedges
