Raised with deep Southern African-American roots, Aaron learned early that food was more than sustenance; it was a celebration of culture, history, and tradition.
When Chef Aaron stepped into his first professional kitchen, he knew that this would be the start of something special. But his true inspiration came from home. Cooking was his father’s therapy after long days at work, and watching him transform simple ingredients into comforting meals made Aaron’s decision to pursue a career in food an easy one. From those early experiences, Aaron learned that food has the power to bring people together, and he’s carried that belief throughout his career.
His career spans fine & casual dining, large-scale catering, and culinary innovation for leading brands. Today Chef Aaron has a passion for creating trend-driven recipes; supporting product development; and inspiring chefs, consumers, and customers alike. He also runs his food blog, Be Greedy Eats, where he shares indulgent, approachable recipes that celebrate bold flavors and soulful cooking.
