Chef Jordan Weber owes her passion for cooking to being born into a family of self-proclaimed “foodies.” One set of grandparents opened an Avant-garde Lebanese deli in Northern Michigan, while the others included a baker in the US Navy and a mastermind of Midwestern cuisine. Growing up in Europe, Chef Jordan discovered food is a universal language. Her family would head to a small town in the Netherlands for Indonesian “Rijstafel” (rice table). Even though they didn’t speak Dutch, they shared a love for the bold and unique flavors of the cuisine.
In the kitchen, Chef Jordan enjoys enthusiastically sharing her love of cooking with others, whether it be through cooking demonstrations at events or as a contestant on a TV cooking show. And in her free time she loves to run, and has a marathon (and commensurate meal!) planned soon.
