Drunken Clams in White Wine


  • Olive oil

  • Clams

  • Garlic, shaved

  • Shallot, minced

  • White wine

  • Cherry tomatoes

  • Butter

  • Herbs

Build It

  1. Sauté thinly shaved garlic and shallots.
  2. Add clams and white wine. Steam covered, until just open.
  3. Remove clams from pan.
  4. Add clam broth (prepared as directed on package), cherry tomatoes (blanched & peeled) and bring to a simmer.
  5. Add butter and fresh chopped herbs.
  6. Pour sauce over clams.
  7. Serve with crusty, grilled bread.
