Fried Bologna Sandwich


  • Hawaiian sweet roll

  • Bologna, sliced ¼ inch thick and scored in the middle, being sure to press down the center to allow for crispiness to develop 

  • Egg, fried

  • Shallots, cut thin into rings, tossed in flour and fried

  • Micro cilantro

  • MINOR’S® Pineapple Jalapeno Ready-to-Use Sauce

Build It

  1. On a flat top, fry bologna with no extra fat (it has enough) until crisp.
  2. Toast roll in fat drippings from bologna.
  3. Fry the egg, season with salt and pepper.
  4. Assemble the sandwich: bottom bun, sauce, bologna, egg, fried shallots, cilantro, top bun.
  5. Serve.
